Organizational Structure

The organizational structure of Unleashed Women Network is of five tires.
General Member
Union Committees
Upazilla Committees
District Committees
National Committees

(Presently 11 member executive committee is working on behalf of the National Committee)
General member:
Women who has completed three days Women Leaders Foundation Course and participated in regular Follow up meetings and also willing to work voluntarily on the basis of the declaration and Constitution of Unlashed Women Network, will be eligible for network membership.
Union Committee:
A committee can be formed in any union where, there are at least seven general members, which union should combine at least seven general members. One president, one vice-president, one secretary, one assistant secretary, one finance secretary and two executive members will be in the committee. Members other than these will be treated as general members of the committee. The tenure of the Union Committee is for two years. Union Committee will meet once in a month. Committee will fill the vacant posts as and when required.
Upazilla Committee:
One or two representatives from Union Committee will be selected for Upazilla Committee. Women leaders of the Upazilla Sadar and the selected union members will be the part of the Upazilla Committee. One president, one vice-president, one secretary, one assistant secretary, one finance secretary and 16 executive members will be in the committee. Other members will be treated as general members of the committee. The tenure of this committee will be two years. The committee will meet at least once in a month. Committee will fill the vacant posts as and when required.
District Committee:
At least one or two representatives from each Upazilla committee will be selected for the District Committee. The selected representatives and the women leaders of Zilla Sadar will be the part of District Committee. The committee will be comprised of 11-15 members. One president, two vice-presidents, one secretary, two assistant secretaries and one finance secretary & four to eight executive members will be in the committee. Other members will be treated as general member of the committee. The tenure of the District Committee will be for two years. The committee will meet at least once in every two months. Committee will fill the vacant posts as and when required.
National Committee of Unleashed Women Network:
The National committee will be the highest organizational body of Unleashed Women Network. The policy decisions will be taken by this committee. National Committee will have a Central Executive Committee for day to day activities and for overseeing the overall activities. The Central Executive Committee will have 11 members and will be liable for any vacant position.
The National Committee has 75 members, including Central Executive Committee members and representatives from each district committee. President or Secretary of the District Committee or any member selected by District Committee will represent the district in the National Committee.
The National Committee will meet once in a year. The National Committee meeting may be called through a 30 day notice or a fifteen days notice in case of emergency. The tenure of the National Committee will be for two years.
Central Executive Committee:
Central Executive Committee will execute the work of the network on behalf of National Committee. This committee will devise the work plan and program under the guidance of the basic principles of Unleashed Women Network.
There will be one president, one vice-president, one secretary, one assistant secretary, one treasurer and six executive members in the committee. The committee will fill the vacant posts as and when required.
The Chief of the women development cell of The Hunger Project-Bangladesh will be the de-facto president of the Unleashed Women Network. Other posts will be filled in through election. The Central Executive Committee will meet at least once in every four months. Meeting can be called generally through ten days notice or a five days notice in case of emergency.
Interrelationship among Committees:
Central, District, Upazila and Union committees will build up their interrelationship to help each other. All the committee will actively do their activities influence by the ideology and principles of the network. Each of the committee can express opinion and advice but they should give up the mentality to forcefully implement their decision.
Approval of the committees and Decision Making: Central executive committee will approve district committee’s plan and activities, upazilla committee will approve union committee’s plan and activities. The decision will take by the majority members’ opinion of a particular committee. If there raise any type of complicacy then central executive committee can take the final decision.
